Privacy Policy
How y2tube.in handles your information.
1. Overview
Your privacy matters to us. y2tube.in (the "Service", "we", "us") does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the Service. This policy explains the limited information that is processed when you use the Service.
2. Information we process
- Links you submit. When you paste a video link, it is sent to our server and to our third-party processing service so that the formats can be listed and your file can be prepared. We do not keep a history of the links you submit, and we do not store the files on our own servers.
- Server logs. Like most websites, our servers automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. We use these logs only to keep the Service running, secure and free from abuse, and we keep them for a limited time.
- Emails you send us. If you contact us at [email protected], we use your email address and message only to reply to you.
3. Cookies and browser storage
- Your light or dark theme choice and the last link you converted are saved in your own browser (local and session storage) so the site works smoothly for you. This information stays on your device.
- Our analytics provider may set cookies, as described below.
You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings.
4. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Service in aggregate, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics may use cookies and collect information such as your IP address and device details. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
5. Third-party services
To run the Service we rely on the following providers, which may process technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies:
- Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the website;
- our video processing partner, which prepares the files and serves the download links;
- YouTube image servers, which load video thumbnails;
- Google Fonts, which provides the website's fonts;
- Google Analytics, as described above.
6. How we use information
We use the information above only to provide and improve the Service, to keep it secure and prevent abuse, and to reply to your messages. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, or email us to ask about any information we may hold about you.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
